SAFETY
CAUTION! The brewer must be disconnected
from the power source until specified in Setup.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
The brewer has an attached cordset and requires
two-wire grounded service rated 120 volts AC, 15 amp,
single phase, 60 Hz.
PLUMBING REQUIREMENTS
• Brewer must be connected to a cold water system
with operating pressure between 20-90 psi
(138-620 kPa) from a 1/2" or larger supply line.
• A shut-off valve should be installed in the line
before the brewer.
• Use a regulator if pressure is greater than 90 psi
(620 kPa) to reduce to 50 psi (345 kPa).
• 1/4" Copper tubing is recommended for
installations of less than 25 feet and 3/8" for more
than 25 feet from the water supply line.
• Fill water tank before turning on thermostat or
connecting appliance to power source.
• Use only on a properly protected circuit capable
of the rated load.
• Electrically ground the chassis.
• Follow national/local electrical codes.
• Do not use near combustibles.
• Failure to comply risks equipment damage,
fire or shock hazard.
• Read all instructions before using this product.
• This appliance is heated whenever connected to
a power source.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
or open cover. No user-serviceable parts inside.
Authorized service personnel only. Disconnect
power before servicing.

SETUP
1. Insert an empty funnel into rails. (See Figure 1)
2. Place an empty dispenser under funnel.
3. Turn heater switch to OFF position.
NOTE: Heater switch is on the rear of
the brewer.
4. Connect brewer to power source and turn the
on/lower switch to ON position.

Initial Setup Procedure

Insert Funnel

Place an empty funnel into the designated rails on the brewer.

Position Dispenser

Position an empty dispenser beneath the funnel to catch water.

Set Heater Switch

Ensure the heater switch is set to the OFF position before proceeding.

Connect Power

Connect the brewer to a power outlet and activate the on/lower switch.

Start Water Flow

Press the START switch to initiate water flow into the tank.

Repeat Brew Cycles

Repeat the brew cycle process to fill the tank to capacity.

Activate Heater

Turn the heater switch to the ON position after water flow stops.

Set Batch Selector

Set the batch selector switch to the desired gallon position and start.

Turn Off Brewer

Turn the on/lower switch OFF after water stops flowing to reheat.

Coffee Brewing Process

Insert Filter and Grounds

Insert a filter, add coffee grounds, and level them in the funnel.

Brew Coffee

Place a decanter, turn the brewer ON, and press the start switch.

Discard Grounds

After brewing, discard the used coffee grounds and filter.

Cleaning and Maintenance

General Cleaning

Clean funnel and outer surfaces with mild detergent.

Clean Spray Head

Periodically clean the spray head and its holes to ensure it remains open.

Deliming Spray Head Tube

Use a deliming spring to loosen lime deposits in the spray head tube.

Flush Tube

Flush the spray head tube by running a brew cycle with minimal water.
