All technicians opening the refrigeration
circuit in automotive air conditioning systems
MUST be certified in refrigerant recovery and
recycling procedures in compliance with Section
609 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.

In addition, service of air conditioning
systems can result in overfilling, creating
a serious EXPLOSION HAZARD, if done

R-134a can cause frostbite. Do not disconnect pressurized hoses. Use caution opening AC lines and avoid discharging refrigerant.
