Maintenance and care
Regular maintenance and care contributes to
the safety and preservation of the helmet.
Cleaning the helmet
• Never use petroleum-based solvents or
abrasive cleaners to clean the helmet,
neither on the outside nor on the inside.
• Always use a pH-neutral detergent diluted
in clear water. Rub gently with a soft
cloth. Then wipe dry with a lint-free cloth.
• After use, wipe off soiling (e.g. insects,
sand, dust etc.) with a soft, damp cloth
and then wipe off with a soft, dry cloth.
• After use in wet and humid conditions, the
visor should always be wiped off with a
dry, soft cloth.
• Never use petroleum-based solvents or
abrasive cleaners when cleaning the
helmet.
Cleaning the cheek, acoustic
and inner padding
• Hand wash below 30 °C.
• Allow to dry at room temperature.
• Avoid sources of heat.
• Store in dry, ventilated areas when not in
use.
Storage
Store the helmet in a dry and well-ventilated
place at room temperature when not in use.
Avoid sources of heat.
Do not expose the product to unnecessarily
intense heat, e.g. in the car at high outside
temperatures.
Notes on disposal
Dispose of the product and packaging
materials in accordance with current local
regulations. Keep packaging materials, such
as foil bags, out of the reach of children. Store
packaging material out of the reach of small
children.
Dispose of the product and packaging in an
environmentally friendly manner.
The recycling code is used to identify various
materials for return to the recycling loop.
The code consists of the recycling symbol –
intended to reect the recycling loop – and a
number identifying the material.
