What to do if my Ultra-tow 57405 motor will not operate?

If the motor of your Ultra-tow Automobile Accessories won't operate, several issues could be the cause. First, check the battery and electrical connections, ensuring a minimum of 10 VDC. If the battery is low, connect the trailer cable to the tow vehicle and start it to supply power. Also, ensure proper grounding by cleaning the area between the jack mounting plate and coupler, removing paint for direct metal-to-metal contact. Check the circuit breakers: wait 15 seconds for the internal one to close, or manually reset the manual reset circuit breaker by pressing the button. Finally, check for loose wires on the ON/OFF switch and secure them. If the issue persists, the ON/OFF switch or the motor itself may be faulty and require replacement.
