Why does my Ultrafilter BOREAS DSM SD 1200-60 keep stopping during operation?

If the Ultrafilter Dehumidifier stops during operation, it might be due to several reasons. The pressure limiter might have stopped the CA-dryer because of an overload, in which case you should eliminate the cause of the trouble. Other possible causes include a defective fan or cooling water regulator (for water-cooled versions), in which case you should replace the fan or cooling water regulator, or call for service. The condenser might be polluted, requiring you to clean it. Finally, the operating pressure might be too low, so increase the operating pressure and check whether the CA-dryer's capacity is properly selected.

If you're experiencing high differential pressure at the CA-side of your Ultrafilter Dehumidifier, you can try a few things. First, press the reset button at the pressure limiter to acknowledge the failure. Also, check whether the CA-dryer's capacity is properly selected and increase it if needed. Increase the operating pressure and re-evaluate the CA-dryer's capacity. As another option, disconnect the unit while maintaining compressed air flow; after about half an hour, the differential pressure should return to normal, and you can restart the unit. If the heat exchanger ices up again, it is recommended to call for service.
