What to do if the Ulvac STC-1C refrigerator unit does not start running?
    • C
      Crystal SuttonAug 8, 2025
If the refrigerator unit of your Ulvac Temperature Controller doesn't start, possible causes include disconnected input power, refrigerator power, or inverter control cables; contact failure in these cables; a compressor failure; a refrigerator failure; or an internal circuit fault. Ensure all cables are correctly connected. If the issue persists, it may indicate a failure of the compressor or refrigerator. In that case, check their instruction manuals.

    • K
      Karl AcostaAug 30, 2025
If the indicated temperature on your Ulvac Temperature Controller is at or above room temperature (around 340K), it could be due to incorrectly wired [?] and [?] of the K thermocouple, or interference from a heater or another heat source. Make sure the thermocouple wires are correctly oriented. Immediately cut off any nearby heater sources, as the refrigerator's maximum allowable temperature is 340K.
