INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
Please quit all Windows programs before installing your new software.
IMPORTANT: Install the software prior to installing the AstraCam Cradle.
Please install Adobe
®
PhotoDeluxe
®
first and then install the AstraCam
software.
Installing Adobe PhotoDeluxe
1. Insert the Adobe PhotoDeluxe CD into your CD-ROM drive. (If the
installation program starts automatically, skip to step 5.)
2. Double-click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your Windows desktop.
3. Double-click on the PHOTODELUXE icon (your CD-ROM drive icon).
4. Double-click on the AUTOPLAY icon.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to continue the installation. This CD will
install Adobe PhotoDeluxe, Adobe
®
Acrobat
®
Reader and Adobe
®
Type
Manager
®
.
6. Once everything has been installed, click on the FINISH button to finish
installation and begin the registration process.
7. After registration is complete, you will be prompted to restart the computer.
Click on the OK button to restart Windows.
Installing the AstraCam Software
1. Insert the AstraCam Digital Camera CD into your CD-ROM drive. (If the
installation program starts automatically, skip to step 5.)
2. Double-click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your Windows desktop.
3. Double-click on the UMAX AstraCam CD icon (your CD-ROM drive icon).
