Why does my UMI EL12 Juicer stop running suddenly?

  Your UMI Juicer might stop suddenly for a couple of reasons. First, you may have put too many ingredients into it. If this happens, switch it to the “R” position to make the ingredients return upwards. If that doesn’t work, clean the juicer before using it again. Another reason could be that you didn't cut hard fruits or vegetables into small enough pieces. Be sure to cut hard items like carrots into thin strips or small cubes before putting them in.

  If you're having trouble opening the chute and strainer assembly of your UMI Juicer, here are a few things to try: * Too many pulps inside the bowl? Press the switch to the “R” setting to eject the pulps backward. * Hard foods stuck inside? Again, use the “R” setting to eject the object. * If it's just a stuck pulp mess, pour water into the chute and let it sit overnight to soften the mess.

Why is the juice yield low, or why is juice flowing out of the main housing of my UMI EL12?

  If you're experiencing a low juice yield or juice is leaking from the main housing of your UMI Juicer, it's likely that the bowl and silicone valve aren't installed correctly. Please re-install the bowl silicone valve by referring to the installation method.
