Overview

This document provides user manuals for various UNDONE mechanical watches, including models with NH35A, NH39, NH70/72, and Sellita SW200 automatic movements, as well as a 3450 Manual Wound Tourbillon movement. The manuals cover international warranty information, basic watch functions, and instructions for setting the time and date.

Function Description:

UNDONE watches are timekeeping devices designed to display the hour, minute, and in some models, the second and date. They are available with different mechanical movements:

  • NH35A Automatic Movement: Features hour, minute, second, and date display.
  • NH39 Automatic Movement: Features hour, minute, and 24-hour hand display.
  • NH70/72 Automatic Movement: Features hour and minute display.
  • Sellita SW200 Automatic Movement: Features hour, minute, second, and date display.
  • 3450 Manual Wound Tourbillon Movement: Features hour and minute display, with a visible tourbillon mechanism.

All models are equipped with a crown, which serves as the primary control interface for setting the watch. The crown's functionality varies slightly depending on the movement type.

Important Technical Specifications:

While specific technical dimensions (e.g., case size, water resistance depth in meters) are not detailed in these excerpts, the manuals highlight key operational aspects:

  • Movement Types:
    • Automatic: NH35A, NH39, NH70/72, Sellita SW200. These movements self-wind with the wearer's motion.
    • Manual Wound: 3450 Tourbillon. This movement requires manual winding of the crown to power the watch.
  • Water Resistance: Indicated as "Water resistance enabled" when the crown is in the screwed-in position. Specific depth ratings are not provided.
  • Display Features:
    • Hour, Minute, Second: Common across most models.
    • Date: Available on NH35A and Sellita SW200 movements.
    • 24-Hour Hand: Available on the NH39 movement.
    • Tourbillon: A visible rotating cage mechanism on the 3450 Manual Wound Tourbillon, designed to counter the effects of gravity on the escapement.

Usage Features:

The watches are operated via a crown, which typically has multiple positions for different functions:

  • Crown Positions (NH35A & Sellita SW200):

    • Position 1 (Normal): Crown is pushed in, often screwed down for water resistance.
    • Position 2 (Quick Correction of Date): Used to rapidly adjust the date.
    • Position 3 (Setting of Hour, Minute, Date): Used for precise time and date setting.
  • Crown Positions (NH39, NH70/72 & 3450 Tourbillon):

    • Position 1 (Normal): Crown is pushed in, often screwed down for water resistance.
    • Position 2 (Setting of Hour and Minute): Used for precise time setting.

Setting the Time:

  1. Pull the crown: To position 3 (for NH35A, Sellita SW200) or position 2 (for NH39, NH70/72, 3450 Tourbillon).
  2. Turn the crown: Clockwise (for NH35A, NH39, NH70/72, 3450 Tourbillon) or counter-clockwise (for Sellita SW200) to set the hour and minute.
  3. Push the crown back: To position 1 to engage the movement and secure water resistance.

Quick Correction of Date (NH35A & Sellita SW200 only):

  1. Set the crown: To position 2.
  2. Turn the crown: Counter-clockwise (for NH35A) or clockwise (for Sellita SW200) to set the date.
  3. Push the crown back: To position 1.

Maintenance Features:

  • International Warranty: UNDONE provides a one-year international warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers repair or replacement of the watch movement if it has a manufacturing defect.
  • Warranty Exclusions: The warranty explicitly does not cover:
    • Theft or loss.
    • Consequences of natural disasters.
    • Damage from accidents (shocks, knocks, dents, etc.).
    • Alteration or damage from unauthorized servicing.
    • Mistreatment or improper use.
  • Warranty Validity: To validate the warranty, the warranty card must be fully completed and signed by an approved UNDONE dealer.
