Once you have received your router package containing your new Wi-Fi 6 Router,
you are advised to install the router within 7 days. During installation, please follow
the labelled instructions for Wi-Fi 6 Router. Installation after 7 days from receiving the
package will require assistance for setup. Please contact us at 1800-88-5059
(working hours 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday-Friday) to complete it.

Connect Wi-Fi 6 Router to Modem

Unboxing and Cable Preparation

Prepare by unboxing the router and marking old cable connections for accurate reattachment.

Router to Modem Connectivity

Connect the Wi-Fi 6 Router WAN port to the existing modem's LAN 1 port using the provided cable.

Powering On the Router

Connect the Wi-Fi 6 Router power adapter to a power socket and switch it on.

Auto-Configuration Wait

Allow 15 to 30 minutes for the system to auto-configure and establish the network connection.

Post-Connection Details

Receive broadband password via SMS and note the new default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

Optional TV Media Box Connection

Connecting Media Box to Router

Connect the unifi TV Media Box LAN port to the Wi-Fi 6 Router LAN 3 port for wired connection.
