What to do if Uniflame GBC1103W burner will not light with match?
    • V
      Veronica WoodAug 20, 2025
If your Uniflame Barbecue grill burner won't light with a match, there could be several reasons. First, check if there's no gas flow, which could mean the LP gas tank is empty; replace or refill it if needed. Also, make sure that the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected by hand-tightening them. There may be an obstruction of gas flow, so clear the burner tubes and check for any bent or kinked hoses. Ensure the burner is properly engaged with the valve. Finally, inspect for spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, and clean the venturi and burner tube if necessary. Clean burner ports if they are clogged or blocked.

Why is there a sudden drop in gas flow in my Uniflame GBC1103W Barbecue grill?
    • A
      Alexa HollandAug 22, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height in your Uniflame Barbecue grill can happen for a couple of reasons. The most common is simply running out of gas, so replace or refill the LP gas tank. It's also possible that the excess flow safety device has been activated. To reset it, turn all control knobs to the off position, wait 30 seconds, and try lighting the grill again. If the flames are still too low, turn the control knobs off, close the LP gas tank valve, disconnect the regulator, turn the control knobs to high, wait one minute, turn the control knobs off, reconnect the regulator (and check for leaks), and then light the grill according to the lighting instructions.

    • J
      Jacob RoyAug 26, 2025
Flame blow out on your Uniflame Barbecue grill can be due to a few reasons. High or gusting winds can cause the flame to extinguish, so avoid using the grill in such conditions. Also, check if you are low on LP Gas and replace or refill the LP gas tank if needed. In case of excess flow valve tripped refer to “Sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height”.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Uniflame Barbecue grill?
    • S
      Samuel TaylorAug 28, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Uniflame Barbecue grill could be due to several factors. If it's a new burner, it might have residual manufacturing oils, so burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Another cause could be spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, so clean the venturi. Food residue or grease on the burner can also cause this issue, so clean the burner. Lastly, check the alignment of the valve to the burner venturi and ensure they are properly engaged.

What to do if Uniflame GBC1103W burner will not light using ignitor?
    • L
      leslie03Nov 15, 2025
If the burner on your Uniflame Barbecue grill won't light with the ignitor, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. If that's not the problem, the LP gas tank might be low or empty, so replace or refill it. Also, check for any LP gas leaks; if you smell gas, turn the tank valve to “CLOSED,” wait five minutes, and then follow the leak-checking procedure in the owner’s manual. It's also possible that the battery needs replacing, the wires or electrode are covered in cooking residue (clean with rubbing alcohol), or the electrode and burners are wet (wipe dry). Other potential causes include a cracked or broken electrode (replace it), a loose or disconnected wire (reconnect or replace the electrode/wire assembly), a...
