For your safety, follow the installation directions. Contact local building or fire officials

about restrictions and installation requirements peculiar to your area. Do Not Plug

this appliance into an electrical outlet before reading and understanding all operations

and always unplug the unit before attempting any work or maintenance. Do not

connect this stove to any chimney flue already serving another appliance. Carefully

observe and maintain all clearances to combustibles.

A note about fuel: Use only dried shelled corn with a moisture content of 14%

or less (11 to 12% provides the best results); any pellet fuel used should have

an ash content of 1% or less. If not, efficiency will suffer, and your warranty may be

voided.

Your American Harvest Corn/Pellet Stove operates on a negative pressure. Therefore,

all venting connections (elbows, T-pipe) must be sealed and airtight.

Use Hi-Temp silicone at each joint or connection.

  If the fire in your United States Stove Pellet stove burns with a lazy, orange flame, fuel builds up, and the glass gets dirty, it's likely due to a too-rich air/fuel mixture. Here's what to check: * Ensure the glass door is tightly shut and sealed; adjust the handle or replace the gasket if needed. * Verify ash dumps are correctly placed and sealed. * Confirm the exhaust fan is running properly; check its connection and clean or replace it if necessary. * Ensure the fuel's moisture content is below 15%; dry the fuel or mix it with wood pellets. * Inspect the stove and exhaust pipes for blockages; clean the firepot and vent holes. * Reduce the heat setting if the feed rate is too high. * Consider adding outside combustion air if there isn't enough available.

How to fix a United States Stove American Harvest 6039 that shuts down and stops feeding fuel?

  If the fire goes out or the United States Stove Pellet stove shuts down and the fuel stops feeding, it might be because the auger has stopped turning. Check if the auger motor is turning but the auger isn't. Also, if the operating temperature is too low, the low limit sensor may cause the stove to shut down. If the stove is extremely hot, allow the stove to cool for 1 hour and restart. A tripped vacuum switch, caused by a non-running exhaust blower or blocked venting, can also be the reason. Check, clean, or replace the blower and clear any venting blockages. Lastly, inspect the auger motor connection and replace the motor if necessary.
