Your Latitude hearing instruments may also come with
an optional remote control which allows you to switch
between different listening programs, and adjust your
smartFocus (Latitude 16 only). Please refer to your
Smart Control User Guide for more information.
Toggle
The toggle on your hearing instruments can
be set up as either a volume control, or a
smartFocus control (Latitude 16 only). Note
that your toggle may be disabled by your hearing
healthcare professional and, therefore, could be
inactive.
Volume Control
If your toggle has been configured as a volume
control, you can increase the volume level by pushing
in the toggle portion on the back of the hearing
instrument. You can decrease the volume level by
pushing the toggle portion located on the bottom of
the hearing instrument.
If duoLink is enabled, the hearing instrument can also
be set so that by changing the volume on one hearing
instrument, both will be adjusted.
Your Latitude 16 hearing instruments will learn your
volume control adjustments while the hearing
instruments are set to the automatic program, if this
