Batteries come partially charged. Please charge your battery at 100% if you wish to ride your bike
at full autonomy.
Lithium-ion batteries have special over and discharge protections. Therefore, interrupting charge
does not damage the life of the battery at all.
Avoid exposure to sunlight, and do not expose the battery charger to any liquids. Also keep the
battery safe from extreme temperatures.
Other considerations:
Always keep your battery and charger clean. Dirt can block plugs and sockets and put in danger
the electronic equipment as well as electric shocks.
Do not open the battery charger by yourself. If there are any issues with the charger, always
head to a sufficiently qualified technician or replace it.
Do not handle the battery near flammable materials as batteries heat when charging and using.
Use protective gloves.
Do not use other chargers. Always use the one provided with the bicycle. If your charger stops
working for any reason, keep from using it and always use replacement from the same brand and
specs.
Keep the charger away from any liquids. Don’t expose it to meteorological conditions such as
rain, snow or to the sunlight.
In case of damage, batteries and chargers can produce vapours. In case this happens, seek for
fresh air. If you are unable to interrupt charging, immediately call emergency. Also look for medical
attention.
