Problem Cause
Solution
Jack will not lift to full
height.
Low oil level. Add hydraulic fluid as needed.
Jack will not hold load. Low oil level.
The pumping system is not operating
correctly.
Add hydraulic fluid as needed.
Replace the pumping system.
Lift arm will not lower. More fluid in the jack reservoir than
is needed.
Drain to the level indicated in the fill hole, to do this,
remove the rubber plug.
Jack feels spongy when
lifting.
