This smoke alarm uses an extremely small amount of a radioactive
element in the ionization chamber. Do not tamper with radioactive sealed
source or try to repair the smoke alarm yourself.
THANK YOU for purchasing this smoke and re alarm. This alarm does not
require battery changes. It has a permanent power sealed battery backup which
will last for approximately 10 years. This manual includes important information
regarding where to install the alarm, how to operate, maintenance, testing and
product features. It also includes tips and information which could help protect
you and your family.
