THANK YOU for purchasing this 3-in-1 Smoke + Fire + Carbon Monoxide Smart Alarm.
This alarm contains a 10 year permanent power sealed battery to provide continuous
protection--even in the event of a power outage. The sealed battery will last for approx-

    How to reset USI Smoke Alarm after an alarm?

      To reset the USI Smoke Alarm after abnormal operation or previous alarms, hold the Test button for 10-15 seconds. This will clear the alarm origination. It's recommended to reset the alarm after each alarm event.

      If you're experiencing nuisance alarms with your USI Smoke Alarm, first verify that the alarm is mounted in the correct location. If there is no hazard present, reset the alarm.

      If your USI Smoke Alarm is giving a low battery or end-of-service life warning, deactivate the alarm (see the User’s Manual 'ALARM DEACTIVATION' section) and replace the alarm immediately. The warning cannot be silenced.

      If one or more USI Smoke Alarms are not responding to the interconnected alarm, press and hold the smoke alarm Test button for at least 5 seconds. If still no alarm, turn off AC Power at the circuit breaker or fuse box and disconnect the alarm from the mounting bracket and make sure the connector plug is securely attached on alarms that did not sound. If still no alarm, have licensed electrician make sure the yellow wire is not mistakenly or accidentally connected to the white (neutral) wire.
