Break retaining tabs of the orifice with a screwdriver for replacement if needed.
Reassemble the poppet with its O-ring, seat, and retainer, ensuring correct orientation and tightening.
Install the orifice and its O-rings into the housing, aligning locking tabs carefully.
Adjust the lever to eliminate play by catching up with the adjustment screw.
Insert the poppet and housing assembly into the 2nd stage housing, ensuring correct air outlet orientation.
Verify the lever is correctly positioned within the diaphragm level, adjusting if necessary.
Adjust the lever adjustment screw to achieve a total play of 4-5 mm at the lever tip.
Connect to a tank and open the valve to check for leaks after assembly.
Cycle regulator 20 times for stabilization; if no leak, adjust lever play to 3 mm.
If leaking, clockwise screw the spring adjustment screw incrementally to stabilize.
Adjust lever play to 3 mm after the 2nd stage stops leaking and spring adjustment is stable.
If leaks persist, reverse friction disk or replace poppet assembly/orifice.
Hook the lever into the diaphragm linkage, aligning injection points for optimal performance.
