  If your VacPak-It Cookers unit has no power, first, ensure it is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. Also, check the power cord for any damage like tears or frays. If the cord is damaged, do not use the machine.

  If your VacPak-It Cooker isn't heating, make sure the water level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines on the head. If it's not, let the unit cool down, then add water until it reaches the level between those two marks.
