Remove the backing paper from the double-sided tape on all four edges of the bottom plate.

Tilt the machine at an angle of 40° so that the side with the right-angled notch points
towards the front of the washing machine, as shown in the figure. Carefully insert the
edge with the oblique-angled notch between the two thumbscrews at the back of the
washing machine. Then fit the bottom plate making sure that it is in close contact with
the bottom of the washing machine.

Manually press the double-sided tape along all four edges to firmly secure the noise-
reducing plate to the body of the appliance.
