Additional UL requirements
1. Installation
For a complete safe and vault installation connect to ’high security cable’. This
product shall be installed in accordance with The Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1,
Safety Standard for Electrical Installations.
2. Programming - Sensitivity
 Remote input (terminal 7) must not be able to be activated manually. It has to
be assured that remote input is only active while functional noise requires its
activation.
 Remote input must not be activated permanently and is limited to 60 seconds.

 A detector shall be on each modular wall panel that is not continuously welded.
 For coverage of surfaces over corners, the recommended spacing is reduced
by 75%.

 At least one detector is to be mounted on the door and at least one detector is
to be mounted on the body.
* Note: Shock sensitivity is defined as the sensitivity to single impacts on the detector
or its base. Only in USER MODE, the shock sensitivity can be set independently of
Mode and Operating radius with the help of the GMSW7 SensTool software. If one of
the fixed DIP setting is used, the shock sensitivity corresponds to Mode and
Operating radius as indicated in the tables above.

1. Anwendung
1. Das Gerät eignet sich zum Einsatz in Einbruchmeldeanlagen nach
DIN EN 50131-1.
2. Die Einstellposition „Digitaler Filter“ in der Betriebssoftware SensTool darf nicht
verändert werden. Werkseinstellung: OFF
2. Programmierung
Wird der Steuereingang Klemme 7 “Remote“ zur Empfindlichkeitsreduktion benutzt,
so muss die Übereinstimmung mit den einschlägigen VdS-Vorschriften im
Systemzusammenhang geprüft, bzw. vom VdS akzeptiert werden.
