The Vaporesso Target 100 is an electronic vaping device designed to provide a customizable and satisfying experience for users. This device is intended for use with compatible e-liquid, which may contain nicotine.
The Vaporesso Target 100 operates as a powerful vaping mod, capable of delivering output power ranging from 5 to 100W. It supports a single 18650 or 21700 battery (not included) for power. The device features a 0.96" TFT screen that displays essential information such as wattage, system lock status, Smart VW mode, resistance, output voltage, battery level, puff counter, vaping time, and the current output mode.
The core functionality revolves around its advanced AXON CHIP, which offers multiple output modes to tailor the vaping experience. The default mode is F(t) Mode, which adjusts temperature, heating speed, and time to adequately release e-liquid flavors, aiming for a perfectly balanced taste. Pulse Mode (PUL) is another option, designed to enhance the vaping experience through constant voltage output, leading to optimal flavor production, throat hit, nicotine satisfaction, and consistent temperature clouds. For those who prefer a more straightforward approach, Variable Wattage Mode (VWN) allows users to adjust the wattage based on coil resistance for an immersive vaping experience, displaying wattage, resistance, and puff count. Additionally, a DIY Mode provides access to traditional VW (High, Normal, Soft), VV (Variable Voltage), and BP (Bypass) modes, offering extensive customization. The device also includes a System Set (SET) menu for further configuration, including DEFAULT settings, Smart VW, PUFF counter management, and VERSION information. The Smart VW function, when enabled, automatically recommends the best power setting when a tank is installed.
Safety is a key aspect of the Target 100's design. It incorporates multiple protection features, including short circuit protection, low resistance protection (triggered if resistance is less than 0.1±0.01Ω), no load protection (if no resistance is detected), high resistance protection (if resistance is greater than 5±0.5Ω), low voltage protection (if battery cell voltage drops below 3.3±0.1V), PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) over heat protection (if internal temperature exceeds 70+5℃/-10℃), over discharge protection (device output closes if battery cell voltage is lower than 2.9±0.1V during use), over charge protection (OLED displays "100%" during charging, and battery cell voltage will not exceed 4.2±0.03V), auto-shut off protection (output closes after 10±1 seconds of continuous power button press), and battery cell anti-reverse connection protection to prevent damage from incorrect battery insertion.
Operating the Vaporesso Target 100 involves several user-friendly steps. To begin, the tank must be installed by screwing it onto the 510 thread, ensuring a firm connection. Replacing the coil is a straightforward process: unscrew the thread base from the tank, pull out the used coil, install a new one, and reattach the thread base. This process is visually guided by Figure 1 in the manual.
Filling the e-liquid is also designed for convenience. Users push the top cap in the direction of the arrow, fill e-liquid through the designated hole, and then lock the top cap back into place. It is crucial to wait 5 minutes after filling to allow the e-liquid to fully soak into the coil, preventing dry hits and ensuring optimal flavor. This procedure is illustrated in Figure 2.
Adjusting the airflow is achieved by rotating the air-inlet ring located at the bottom of the tank, allowing users to customize their draw preference. Powering the device on or off requires pressing the power button five times within two seconds.
Power adjustment is an important feature, especially given the device's compatibility with GTi coil platforms. The manual provides suggested wattage ranges for different GTi MESH Coils (e.g., 60-75W for GTi 0.2Ω MESH Coil and 50-60W for GTi 0.4Ω MESH Coil) to ensure optimal performance and coil longevity. Once the desired power is set, users can start vaping by pressing the power button.
Charging the battery is done via a Type-C USB cable. Upon connection, the battery indicator and remaining charging time are displayed on the screen. The device can be locked or unlocked by pressing the fire button three times, which simultaneously locks/unlocks the "+", "-", and mode buttons, as well as the screen.
Choosing an output mode is facilitated by the mode button. A long press of the mode button allows selection between main modes like Pulse Mode, F(t) Mode, and VWN Mode. For secondary menu settings, the mode button needs to be pressed three times continuously.
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of the Vaporesso Target 100. Users are advised to turn off the device when it is not in use to conserve battery and prevent accidental activation. It is also important not to leave the charging device unattended.
The device should be handled with care; dropping, throwing, or abusing it can cause damage. For charging, only a standard USB output charger with appropriate charging current and voltage range should be used. The device should be kept away from water, flammable gases, or liquids, and protected from direct sunlight, dust, moisture, or mechanical shock.
Operating and storing the device within recommended temperature ranges (-10~60℃ /14~140°F for use and -10~45℃ /14~113°F for storage) is crucial for optimal performance and battery health.
Vaporesso emphasizes environmental responsibility through its recycling guidelines. The product itself, as well as its battery, should not be treated as household waste. Instead, they should be handed over to applicable collection points for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and used batteries, respectively.
Crucially, any repairs to the device should only be performed by Vaporesso. Users are strongly cautioned against attempting self-repair, as this could lead to damage to the device or personal injury.
The device is designed for use with compatible e-liquid, which may contain nicotine, an addictive substance. It is not suitable for persons under the legal smoking age, non-smokers, or pregnant/breastfeeding women. Individuals with certain health conditions (heart disease, stomach/duodenal ulcers, liver/kidney problems, long-term throat disease, bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, overactive thyroid gland, phaeochromocytoma) or those taking specific medications (Theophylline, Ropinirole, Clozapine) should also avoid using this device. If adverse effects like faintness, nausea, dizziness, headache, coughing, throat irritation, stomach discomfort, hiccups, nasal congestion, vomition, chest palpitations/pain, or irregular heart rate occur, users should consult a healthcare professional.
