4.0 Calibration
Enter the setup mode by pressing the internal CAL switch on the circuit board. Assume
for the following procedure that the desired capacity resolution is 5000lb by 1-lb. If
the selection for F5.0 above is 2, lb/kg switchable, then enter all calibrations fields
below as pounds. The kg equivalent will be automatically computed during normal
scale operation.
DISPLAY ACTION / DESCRIPTION
FSE F1 Advance to F step 5 by pressing ZERO.
FSE F5 Enter CAL mode by pressing PRINT.
F5.0 2 Use the TARE key to select 2 for calibration in pounds and press
PRINT to advance to the next step.
F5.1 1 Use the TARE key to display 1 for the increment size and press
PRINT to advance to the next step.
F5.2 0 Use the TARE key to display 0 for the decimal location on the display
and press PRINT to advance to next step.
F5.3 E Use the TARE key to display E to enter calibration and press PRINT
to advance to the next step.
F5.4 0 Use the TARE key to display 0 for no linearity correction and press
PRINT to advance to the next step.
E.SCALE Remove all weight from the scale and press PRINT.
0 Enter the full scale capacity. Use the TARE to select the first digit
of the capacity then press GROSS NET to move it to the left. This
sequence would result in 50.
5000 Repeat the process in the step above for the second digit until all digits
are entered then press PRINT.
07 SEC The display counts down ensuring a stable reading.
Add Ld Apply a test weight to the scale or full capacity if available and press
PRINT.
