Function Description:
The VELUX CVP + ISD and CVP + ZCE + ISD are electrically operated flat roof skylights designed to provide natural light and ventilation. The CVP + ISD model includes the skylight and an insulating glass unit (ISD). The CVP + ZCE + ISD model adds an external sun screening element (ZCE) to the CVP + ISD configuration, offering additional sun protection. These skylights are equipped with an electric motor that allows for automatic opening and closing, and they feature a rain sensor that automatically closes the window if it gets wet. The products are designed to integrate seamlessly with other genuine VELUX products and io-homecontrol® enabled devices, allowing for remote control and smart home integration.

- Installation Requirements:
- Minimum 100 mm distance from the edge of the opening to the nearest screw.
- Maximum 300 mm distance between screws.
- For CVP + ISD, the minimum distance from the finished roof surface to the top of the upstand is 90 mm, and the total height of the upstand is 150 mm.
- For CVP + ZCE + ISD, the minimum distance from the finished roof surface to the top of the upstand is 205 mm, and the total height of the upstand is 300 mm.
Usage Features:
- Automatic Operation: The skylights can be opened and closed electrically, either via a remote control (sold separately) or a test button on the motor.
- Rain Sensor: An integrated rain sensor detects moisture and automatically closes the skylight to prevent water ingress.
- io-homecontrol® Compatibility: The skylights are part of the io-homecontrol® ecosystem, allowing for integration with other smart home devices for centralized control and automation.
