The VersativTECH® Digital Circuit Breaker Finder with GFCI Tester & LED Flashlight is a tool designed to quickly and accurately identify the corresponding circuit breaker supplying power to any 90-120V AC standard outlet. It also functions as a GFCI tester and includes an integrated LED flashlight for use in dark areas.

Function Description:

The primary function of this device is to locate the correct circuit breaker or fuse associated with a specific 90-120V/60Hz AC outlet without tripping the breaker or blowing a fuse. This is achieved using two main components: a Transmitter (also functioning as a GFCI Tester) and a Receiver.

The Transmitter is plugged into the outlet whose breaker needs to be identified. It sends a signal through the circuit. The Receiver is then used at the circuit breaker panel to scan the breakers. When the Receiver detects the signal from the Transmitter, it indicates the corresponding breaker through an audible tone and a green LED light.

Additionally, the Transmitter unit doubles as a GFCI Tester. When plugged into an outlet, it can identify five common wiring faults:

Open Ground: Indicates the ground contact is not connected.
Open Neutral: Indicates the neutral contact is not connected.
Open Hot: Indicates the hot contact is not connected.
Hot/Ground Reverse: Indicates the hot and ground contacts are reversed.
Hot/Neutral Reverse: Indicates the hot and neutral contacts are reversed.
A "Correct" indication means the receptacle is wired correctly.
