Initial Feeder Setup Steps

Select Location for Feeder

Position the feeder near an outlet, against a wall, with the bowl facing outward.

Move Pet Tags

Place pet tags at least 3 feet (90 cm) away from the feeder.

Insert Power Cord

Connect the round end to the feeder base and the other end to a wall outlet.

Insert Food Bowl

Place the food bowl into the feeder base.

Set Current Time

Use +/- buttons to set hours and minutes, confirming each step.

Select Pet Type

Choose the dog or cat icon to confirm the pet type.

Select Meals Per Day

Choose 2, 4, or 6 meals for a cat; 2 or 3 meals for a dog.

Set Meal Times

Set the time for each meal, starting with the first meal.

Enter Total Cups Per Day

Input the total daily food amount in cups; it will divide among meals.

Select Feeder Mode

Choose between CLOSED or OPEN mode for bowl door operation.

Pair Assigned Pet Tag

Assign a tag to the feeder by holding it near the LCD and pressing buttons.

Attach Tag to Pet's Collar

Attach the assigned tag to the front of the pet's collar.

Fill Food Bin

Use dry food with kibble sized 5/8" or less, avoiding irregular shapes.

Manual Operation of Feeder

Manual Door Control

Hold specific buttons simultaneously to open or close the bowl door.

Dispense Single Meal Manually

Press and hold specific buttons together to dispense one meal.

Stopping Tones and Flashes

Press the select button to stop feeder tones and flashing indicators.
