The ultrasonic cleaner operates by generating high-frequency sound waves that create microscopic bubbles in the cleaning fluid. These bubbles, upon collapsing, produce a scrubbing action that dislodges dirt, grime, and contaminants from the surface of the items being cleaned. This process is particularly effective for intricate items with hard-to-reach crevices. The device features multiple cleaning modes, each with a preset duration, allowing users to select the most appropriate setting for different types of items. The cleaning modes include a general "Other patterns" mode (360 seconds), a "Watch mode" (300 seconds), a "Jewelry mode" (240 seconds), and a "Glasses mode" (180 seconds). A digital display indicates the remaining cleaning time. The cleaner is designed to be used with clean water, and it is crucial to ensure the water level is within the specified "MAX" mark to prevent damage to the unit. The device is equipped with a power adapter for operation.
To use the ultrasonic cleaner, first, open the lid and add clean water to the tank, ensuring the water level does not exceed the "MAX" mark. It is critical never to operate the unit without water in the tank. Once the water is added, gently place the items to be cleaned into the tank. Using the provided small cleaning basket is recommended to prevent items from dropping directly onto the transducer, which could cause damage. After placing the items, plug the adapter into the machine's socket and then into a power outlet. The display will show "000" indicating standby mode.
To select a cleaning mode, rotate the switch in either direction. The indicator light corresponding to the selected mode will illuminate. Briefly press the switch to start the cleaning process. The digital display will show a countdown of the selected cleaning time. If you need to pause the cleaning cycle, a short press of the power button will pause the countdown. To resume, press the power button again. The rotary switch can also be used to change the cleaning time while paused.
For optimal cleaning, it is advised not to overcrowd the tank or overlap items, as this can reduce cleaning efficiency. Always allow plenty of clear space between items. Keeping the lid on during operation is important to prevent splashes and reduce fluid evaporation.
After the cleaning cycle is complete, unplug the power adapter. Open the lid, carefully remove the cleaned items from the tank, and then pour out the dirty water. Clean and wipe the tank as part of the post-cleaning routine.
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of the VEVOR Ultrasonic Cleaner. After each use, the tank should be cleaned. Pour water into the tank using a measuring cup, filling it to about half of the standard line. Wash the tank with a soft sponge and rinse it with clean water. When pouring water out, it is recommended to pour from the side to avoid getting water into the power connection at the bottom of the cleaning tank.
When cleaning the items themselves, rinse them with clean water once again after the ultrasonic cleaning process. It is crucial to prevent water from seeping into the power connection during this step. For stubborn stains on the device, wet a clean cloth with water and wipe them off, being careful to avoid the switch and power connection. After cleaning, dry the device thoroughly with a dry cloth.
Several safety precautions must be strictly followed. Do not run the cleaner continuously for more than one hour at a time to prevent damage to internal components. Never operate the unit without fluid in the tank, and always ensure the fluid level is no higher than the "MAX" mark and has a minimum depth of 7cm. Avoid dropping items into the tank; always place them gently and use the basket. Do not immerse the machine or its power cord in water or any other liquid. Always handle the power plug with dry hands. If the machine falls into water during operation, immediately remove the power plug from the socket before touching the unit. Do not disassemble the machine unless you are a professional. Unplug the power source when filling or emptying the tank. Avoid spraying water or liquid over the device and control panel. Ensure the cleaner is properly grounded. Do not place the device on soft surfaces that could block the vents. After cleaning, turn off the heater knob (if applicable) and isolate the machine from the power source. Exercise caution when adding or removing items, as the fluid may be hot, and displaced fluid can damage internal components; any displaced fluid must be dried immediately. In case of malfunction or emergency, disconnect the power supply by removing the plug. If heating is required, the water level should be at least 2/3 full. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly from the manufacturer or service agent. The connector must be removed before cleaning, and the appliance inlet must be dried before reuse.
To prevent serious injury and damage, never sit or stand on the item. If the machine is used continuously for several cycles, it may enter a self-protection mode due to overheating, and it will resume operation after about 5 minutes. Do not directly get water from the tap onto the device or power switches, as this will lead to malfunction. Avoid adding anti-toxic, sterilizing, or acidic solvents to the cleaning water, as they can cause deterioration of resin and damage to stainless steel. Do not clean pearls or other low-hardness articles (Morse hardness less than 8), as this can cause damage, discoloration, or loss of luster. Avoid washing rings and necklaces with gems and diamonds for long periods, as gems/diamonds may fall off. Do not use the same socket as a TV, radio, or computer, as it can affect picture clarity or cause noise. Prevent the device from falling or violent shaking, which can cause breakage, deformation, and malfunction.
Certain items are not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning, including wooden articles, turtle shell frames, pearls, birthstone opals, emeralds, gems with softer surfaces, coated and finished inferior products, bonded gemstones, and items with scratches and cracks. The cleaner may not completely remove denture stone, dental wax, yellow-black spots, or smoking dental wax. It may also be ineffective for fixed sedatives in dentures. Discoloration and rust of metals and precious metals cannot be removed by this cleaner. Cleaning bonding jewels, diamond necklaces, and rings may cause them to fall off.
