Overview

The VT007 Vibration Plate Exercise Machine is a linear vibration device designed for health improvement through physical exercise. It is intended for indoor use on a flat, dry floor, free from flammable gas or dust.

Function Description:

The VT007 generates linear vibrations with adjustable frequency and amplitude. It can be operated in either manual control mode (P0) or one of three pre-programmed modes (P1, P2, P3). The device aims to enhance various physical exercises by providing vibration stimulation, particularly for core strength and lower limb muscle exercises like squats, L-squats, deadlifts, calf-raises, tiptoeing, V-sits, and push-ups. New users are advised to start with lower frequency, lower amplitude, and shorter exercise times, gradually increasing intensity as they adapt. The device is designed to be user-serviceable, allowing for disassembly and replacement of parts.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Type of Vibration: Linear Vibration
  • Frequency Range: 10 – 40 Hz Adjustable
  • Amplitude @ Hi (without load): 1.5 – 3 mm
  • Amplitude @ Lo (without load): 0.7 – 1.2 mm
  • Power Supply: AC 110V – 240V, 50/60Hz
  • Electric Motor: PMDC motor 120V 80W
  • Machine Dimensions: 560 x 420 x 145 mm (22 x 16.5 x 5.7 inches)
  • Machine Weight: 10.4 KG (23 LB)
  • Max User Weight: 140 KG (308 LB)

Usage Features:

  • Control Console: The VT007 features a separated plug-in type control console with digit-displays for Hz/Program and Session Time, and indicators for amplitude setting (Green for Lo, Red for Hi). It also has an IR signal receiving sensor for the remote control.
  • Remote Control: A remote control is included for convenient operation, allowing users to adjust session time, frequency, amplitude, and select program modes. The remote is an infra-red type and requires CR2032 or CR2025 batteries.
  • Manual Control Mode (P0): Allows users to set exercise session time (1-20 minutes, default 10 minutes), adjust vibration frequency (10-40Hz, default 15Hz), and switch between Hi and Lo amplitude settings at any time.
  • Program Modes (P1, P2, P3): These modes offer pre-programmed frequency and amplitude patterns over a 10-minute session.
    • P1 (Lo Amplitude): Designed for "Relax exercise" with varying low frequencies.
    • P2 (Hi Amplitude): Designed for "Cardio exercise" with varying high frequencies.
    • P3 (Lo/Hi Mixed Amplitude): Designed for "Mixed exercise" incorporating both low and high amplitude settings alongside frequency changes.
  • Safety Recommendations: Users are advised to keep their body on the vibration plate when it is running, bend knees or lift heels to minimize vibration transmission to the upper body and head, and adjust position to minimize vibration noise. For those lacking physical strength or balance, holding onto a wall-mounted handrail or sturdy furniture is recommended.
  • Amplitude Switching: The device switches amplitude by reversing motor rotation direction to reposition eccentric wheels. This may produce a "clunk sound" and a short "grinding sound," which are normal occurrences and do not indicate a defect.
  • Vibration Intensity Center: The vibration intensity center shifts based on the amplitude setting. At Hi amplitude, it's towards the control box side; at Lo amplitude, it's away from the control box side. Users should align their body weight on the intensity center for optimal performance and reduced noise.
  • Exercise Mat: Placing a large EVA exercise mat beneath the vibration plate is suggested to absorb downward transmitted vibration, especially on wood frame construction floors.

Maintenance Features:

  • Replacement Parts Supply: The manufacturer guarantees the supply of replacement parts for at least 15 years after purchase, available free of charge.
  • User-Serviceable Design: The VT007 is designed for easy disassembly using a screwdriver and two hex wrenches, facilitating repairs and part replacements.
  • Fuse Replacement: The device includes a replaceable 5 amp glass tube fuse (20mm length, 5mm diameter) located next to the power switch, accessible by prying out the fuse box with a screwdriver.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting section for common issues such as power connection problems, control panel malfunctions, remote control issues, and excessive noise, offering possible causes and solutions.
  • Product Registration: Users are encouraged to register their product online to facilitate warranty service, product recalls, updates, and safety warnings.
