5.1 Assembling the shower
1. Please assemble the shower head as displayed in the
diagram.
2. Locate the 'shower head ng' and wrap it 5 to 7 mes
with the Teon tape provided.
3. Select the shorter end of the extension pipe and wrap it 3
to 5 mes with Teon tape. Then thread shower head onto
taped end of pipe unl snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.[4-1]
4. Tightly wrap the threads on the remaining end of the
extension pipe with Teon tape 8 to 10 mes. Carefully
thread the wrapped end of the extension pipe into the
coupler of the shower unl snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
5 If the 'shower head' is poinng up, simply rotate unl it is
poinng down.
5. Follow steps 1 and 2 for the 'Foot Shower'.[4-2]
6. Tightly wrap the 'Foot Shower' threads 5 to 7 mes with the
Teon tape provided. Carefully thread the 'Foot Shower'
into the couple of the shower unl snug. DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN.
7. Aach a garden hose to connect the 'Inlet Port' of the
shower to a water supply.[4-4]
5 In case of leaks at either coupler during step 1 or 2,
remove shower head from ng and wrap threading 3 to 4
more mes with Teon tape before reaaching.[4-1]
8. Match the hot and cold water handle with the quadrate
part of the blue faucet. Install the screw to x the handle.
Put the red and blue cover on the hole of the handle. Please
pay aenon to ensure the red part is on the le and blue
is on the right.
5.2 Mounng the shower
concrete/masonry installaon only
1. Choose a locaon for the shower that receives the most
direct sunlight.
2. Use the main unit to mark the posion of the mounng
holes to be drilled into concrete/masonry for bolts.[4-3]
3. Remove shower. Drill ½ " (13mm) diameter holes, 1 ¾ "
(44mm) deep, using the marks just created.
4. Insert expansion nuts into holes. Place the bolt inside the
expansion nut and tap with a hammer to slightly expand
the nut.
5. Remove bolt and place the base plate/lower tube over the
holes and secure it to the surface with bolts and washers
provided.
5 Base plate will appear loose unl shower is fully secured
to the surface.
6 Installaon instrucons
1. Drill holes in the concrete oor or other solid ground and
bolt the solar shower onto the ground. Make sure the solar
shower will withstand strong winds and other external
forces.
2. It is advisable to install the solar shower in places with a lot
of sunshine.
3. The quick connect adaptor is used for the water inlet. We
suggest using exible hoses. Make sure the exible hose
can withstand pressure of 6 kg/cm
2
.
4. Test for leaks aer installaon. Parts may have come loose
during installaon, causing leaking. Therefore, locang and
ghtening such parts may help resolve the leaks.
