01. The Warranty is valid only in the country of purchase, and valid only for purchase made from Vidiem's Authorised Distribution channels.
The product must be registered in https://www.vidiem.in/product-registration to avail Warranty.
02. which should be shown to our Service Personnel for Scrutiny while sending yourRetain the Original Sale Bill and the Warranty Card,
Mixer Grinder for service to our Authorised Service Centre.
03. The Warranty does not cover damage to the Mixer Grinder due to mishandling/negligence, breakage of Body, Polycarbonate Jar, Lids, denting of Jar
04. All repairs within the Warranty period (arising from manufacturing defects) will be done Free of Charge, for service at our Authorised Service
Centres only.
05. Free service and replacement under Warranty does not affect the expiry date of the Warranty.
06. For repairs after the expiry of the Warranty period our Service Centre will levy a nominal charge on components replaced.
07. Defective components which are exchanged both under 'Chargeable' & 'Free of Charge' basis become the property of the Company.
08. All our service Centres display a list showing the Maximum Retail Price of all the parts.
09. If any unauthorized person tampers with the Products the Warranty is void.
10. The decision of Maya Appliances in the disputes pertaining to terms & conditions of the Warranty & Service Policy shall be final & binding.
11. All disputes pertaining to terms and conditions of our Warranty & Service Policy shall be in subject to jurisdiction of Chennai Courts only.
12. Warranty is applicable for all products, provided it is acknowledged or bears Stamp of the Authorized Dealer.
13. Irrespective of Dealer seal, the serial number of the product must be clearly stated in the warranty card.
14. In the case of eBay, Olx etc., if this is a second sales by a individual buyer, the warranty must be preserved and also transferred. This will then
be honoured as per the conditions of the warranty.
15. If it is a new sales by a Dealer on online stores like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc. or any similar online sale by a Dealer, the Warranty will
continue to be honoured.
16. The responsibility of reaching the product to the authorized service centre of Vidiem is with the customer/buyer.
17. .Warranty does not cover any use of this product other than for domestic use

The Vidiem Mixer Grinder is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for a variety of food preparation tasks, including grinding, juicing, and blending. It is engineered for domestic use, offering features that prioritize user convenience, safety, and durability.

Function Description

The primary function of the Vidiem Mixer Grinder is to process food ingredients efficiently. It comes with different jars tailored for specific tasks:

• Master Jar: This jar is designed for general grinding, including wet and dry ingredients. It can handle tasks like preparing urad dhal and rice batter for dosas, grinding turmeric, and making various masalas. The Master Jar is suitable for larger quantities, making it ideal for bulk preparations.
• Medium & Chutney Jar: This smaller jar is specifically designed for preparing chutneys, ginger-garlic paste, and other smaller quantity grinding tasks. Its size is optimized for fine grinding of ingredients that require less volume.
• Super Juicer & Blender: This specialized attachment allows for both juicing and blending. As a juicer, it can extract juice from fruits, vegetables, and even coconut milk or tamarind. As a blender, it is perfect for making milkshakes, lassi, and other blended beverages.
• Marvel Jar: This jar is also designed for general grinding and blending tasks, offering another option for users depending on their specific needs and the type of ingredients being processed.

The mixer grinder operates with a rotary switch that provides multiple speed settings (1, 2, 3) and a pulse function. The pulse function is particularly useful for short bursts of power, allowing for better control over the grinding process and preventing overheating of ingredients.

Usage Features

The Vidiem Mixer Grinder is designed with several user-friendly features to enhance the cooking experience:

• Grinding Instructions: For optimal results and to prevent overheating, users are advised to always use the pulse function (5 to 7 times) before running the mixer grinder on continuous speeds (1, 2, or 3). Grinding operations should generally not exceed 3 minutes. Specific quantity recommendations are provided for different ingredients and jar types, ensuring efficient processing without overloading the motor. For instance, the Master Jar has a maximum level of 1/2 of the jar and a minimum level above the blade level for effective grinding.
• Juice Extraction: When using the Super Juicer & Blender for juicing, the process involves placing the filter into the jar and locking it onto the flow breakers. Ingredients are then placed into the filter, and a cup is inserted inside the filter to collect the juice. A flat lid is placed on the jar and locked. The jar is then placed on the body of the mixer grinder, pulsed, and run on speed 3. After processing, the lid is opened, the cup is removed, and water is added before replacing the cup and running on speed 3 again for further extraction. For specific tasks like coconut milk, the coconut should be cut into small pieces, pulsed until powdered, and then water added before running on speed 3. Tamarind extraction requires removing seeds beforehand.
• Blending: For blending tasks such as making milkshakes or lassi, ingredients are simply placed into the appropriate jar, and the mixer grinder is operated following the general grinding instructions.
• Overload Protector: A crucial safety and durability feature is the overload protector. If the mixer grinder is overloaded, the power supply to the motor will automatically cut off. To reset, users must switch off the mixer, remove some material from the jar to reduce the load, wait 2 to 4 minutes for the motor to cool, and then press the reset button located on the bottom plate below the body before restarting. This prevents motor damage due to excessive strain.
• Warranty and Service: The product comes with a warranty that is valid only in the country of purchase and for purchases made from authorized distribution channels. To avail warranty, the product must be registered online, and the original sale bill and warranty card must be presented for service. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and provides free repairs at authorized service centers. It does not cover damage from mishandling, negligence, or breakage of parts. Unauthorized tampering with the product voids the warranty. The responsibility of transporting the product to the service center lies with the customer.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of the Vidiem Mixer Grinder:

• Cleaning the Body: The main body of the mixer grinder should never be immersed in water. Instead, it should be cleaned with a damp cloth and wiped dry. Abrasives or water should not be used for cleaning the body.
• Cleaning the Jars: To clean the jars, fill them with 1/2 liter of water and a teaspoon of mild cleaning powder. Run the mixer grinder on speed 1 for 30 seconds. After this, the jars should be rinsed, dried, and stored in an inverted position to prevent water accumulation and maintain hygiene.
• Pre-use and Storage Care: Before the first use and after long periods of storage, it is recommended to rotate the motor coupler and jar couplers by hand to ensure they rotate freely. This helps in maintaining smooth operation.
• Safety Precautions: Users are advised not to touch any rotating parts of the mixer grinder and jars while in operation. The mixer grinder should not be operated without its lid, and the maximum specified quantity should not be exceeded. Grinding hot ingredients is not recommended. Operating the mixer grinder with a damaged power cord should also be avoided for safety reasons.
• Power Cord: Always unplug the power cord when the mixer grinder is not in use.
• Service Contact: For any service-related issues, customers are encouraged to contact the customer care center.
