Cooking
Before using, wash in hot, soapy water; rinse and dry
thoroughly.
For optimal cooking performance, low to medium
heat settings are recommended. Do NOT overheat as
this will damage the non-stick cooking surface.
For best results, cook on a burner that is close to
the diameter of the fry pan you have selected.
When cooking on gas, adjust flame so it does not
flare up the sides of the pan.
Do not leave an empty fry pan on a hot burner.
Care and Cleaning
Allow pan to cool and then clean thoroughly after
each use.
Wash in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry immediately
to prevent water spots.
Do not cut food with a sharp knife while it is in the pan.
Metal utensils may be used but they can cause
scratching. Scratches will not affect the non-stick
performance but can mar the beauty of the pan.
Plastic, rubber, or wood utensils are recommended
to prolong the life of the pan.
Viking non-stick cookware is oven safe to 500º F
but should never be placed under the broiler.
Do NOT use steel wool. Nylon scrubbing pads are
safe to use.
Do NOT use oven cleaner or any cleaner that is
harsh or contains chlorine bleach.
Food film, if not removed, may cause discoloration
on the pan when reheated. If this occurs, simply
remove with a paste of baking soda and a little
water. It will not affect the non-stick performance.
Cookware exterior may be shined using a non-
chlorine, fine powder cleanser, mixed with water
to form a paste. Apply paste with a soft cloth or
sponge, rubbing in a circular motion. Wash in hot,
soapy water and dry immediately.

The Viking Multi-Layer, Stainless Steel, Non-Stick Cookware is designed for household cooking. Its multi-layer construction, combined with a non-stick surface, aims to provide optimal cooking performance. The non-stick coating facilitates easier food release and cleaning, while the stainless steel construction ensures durability and even heat distribution.

  • Material: Multi-Layer, Stainless Steel with Non-Stick coating.
  • Oven Safety: Oven safe up to 500°F.
  • Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty, covering defects in material, construction, or workmanship under normal household cooking use, provided use and care instructions are followed. Overheating is considered abuse and voids the warranty. Not intended for commercial use.

Usage Features

Cooking:

  • Initial Preparation: Before first use, wash the cookware in hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  • Heat Settings: For optimal cooking performance and to protect the non-stick surface, low to medium heat settings are recommended. Overheating must be avoided as it can damage the non-stick coating.
  • Burner Selection: For best results, match the fry pan's diameter to the burner size.
  • Gas Stoves: When cooking on a gas stove, adjust the flame to prevent it from flaring up the sides of the pan.
  • Empty Pan: Do not leave an empty fry pan on a hot burner.
  • Utensils: Metal utensils may be used, but they can cause scratching, which will not affect non-stick performance but may mar the pan's appearance. Plastic, rubber, or wood utensils are recommended to prolong the pan's life.
  • Broiler Use: The cookware should never be placed under a broiler, despite being oven safe to 500°F.

Safety:

  • Handle Placement: Do not allow handles to extend over a hot burner or past the edge of the cooking surface.
  • Pot Holders: Although handles are designed to stay cool to the touch, using a pot holder is a safe practice. Always use pot holders when removing pans from a hot oven.

Maintenance Features

Care and Cleaning:

  • Cooling: Always allow the pan to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Routine Cleaning: After each use, wash the pan thoroughly in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
  • Sharp Objects: Do not cut food with a sharp knife while it is in the pan to avoid damaging the non-stick surface.
  • Abrasives: Do NOT use steel wool. Nylon scrubbing pads are safe for cleaning.
  • Harsh Cleaners: Do NOT use oven cleaner or any cleaner that is harsh or contains chlorine bleach, as these can damage the cookware.

  • Exterior Shine: The cookware's exterior can be shined using a non-chlorine, fine powder cleanser mixed with water to form a paste. Apply the paste with a soft cloth or sponge, rubbing in a circular motion. Afterward, wash in hot, soapy water and dry immediately.

Warranty Service:

  • To obtain warranty service, contact Viking Range Corporation during normal business hours (8 am – 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday).
  • When contacting, provide the model number, a description of the issue, and the date of original purchase.
  • The warranty covers repair or replacement, at Viking Range Corporation's discretion, for items found defective in material, construction, or workmanship, provided the use and care instructions have been followed. Overheating is explicitly stated as abuse and will void the warranty.
