What to do if my Villaware Moderno coffee is overflowing?
    • S
      Samuel WestAug 1, 2025
If coffee is overflowing from the edges of the portafilter, it might be because you've put too much ground coffee in it. This stops it from fitting properly onto the brew head. Try emptying the portafilter and refilling it with the right amount of coffee. Also, check for any coffee grounds stuck around the edge of the filter. If the problem continues, seek assistance from an Authorized Assistance Center.

Why is my Villaware Coffee Maker coffee too watery and cold?
    • N
      nicholas54Aug 6, 2025
If your coffee is too watery and cold, the coffee blend might be ground too coarsely. To get a stronger and hotter coffee, use a more finely ground blend. You might also want to try using the Thermocream® disc, as it helps make sure your coffee is hot and has a rich crema, even if you're using coarsely ground coffee.

Why is my Villaware Coffee Maker not supplying steam?
    • S
      Stacey VazquezAug 12, 2025
If your espresso maker isn't supplying steam, the wand might be blocked, or there might not be enough water in the tank. Try using a pin to clear any blockages in the wand. Also, make sure there's enough water in the water tank.

What to do if first coffee from Villaware Moderno Coffee Maker is too slow?
    • K
      Kevin RodriguezAug 19, 2025
If the first coffee output is too slow or doesn't happen at all, it could be due to fat or lime buildup blocking the disc in the brew head, or there may be insufficient water. Inspect the portafilter for clogged holes and clean them with a brush, or briefly heat the filter over a gas burner to burn away grounds. Run the espresso maker without the portafilter to check water flow. If water still doesn't flow evenly, the brew head disc is likely clogged and needs professional cleaning at an Authorized Assistance Center. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and filled.

How to fix Villaware Coffee Maker not supplying boiling water?
    • A
      April RamirezAug 26, 2025
If your espresso maker isn't providing boiling water for tea, air might have gotten into the system and turned off the pump. Check that the tank is properly inserted and that the water level is above the MIN level. Before making coffee again, run a hot water rinse through the machine.
