Overview

The W Series Presentation Row is a specialized wine rack system designed for displaying wine bottles. It is available in two models: WS-PR-1C and WS-PR, with the WS-PR-1C being a single-column (13" [331mm] wide) version and the WS-PR being a three-column (39" [991mm] wide) version. The system is engineered to fit directly above or below existing W Series Wine Racks, allowing for a cohesive and integrated wine storage and display solution.

Function Description:

The primary function of the W Series Presentation Row is to showcase wine bottles in a horizontal orientation, making labels visible and easily accessible. This design is ideal for creating an attractive display in residential or commercial settings. The rack system is designed for wall-mounting and can be installed on various surfaces including drywall, wood/studs, concrete, brick, stucco, or VintageView W Frames.

  • Modular Design: It is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with other W Series Wine Racks, allowing for expansion and customization of wine storage systems.
  • Horizontal Bottle Display: The rack holds bottles horizontally, which is beneficial for cork preservation and label visibility.
  • Ease of Alignment: When installing above W Series Wine Racks, it is recommended to install the Presentation Row first to simplify the installation of the racks below and ensure proper side-to-side coupling. For full Presentation Rows (3 columns wide) installed with W Series Frames, the frames need to be spaced 13" apart for correct alignment.
  • Concealed Hardware: Mounting hole caps are provided to cover the mounting hardware, contributing to a clean and finished aesthetic.

Installation Process:

  1. Mark Mounting Holes: Position the rack on the wall, use a level to ensure it's horizontal, and mark the mounting hole locations with a pencil.
  2. Prepare Surface for Anchors:
    • Drill pilot holes using a 1/16" (2mm) drill bit.
    • For drywall, enlarge top mounting holes with a 1/2" (12mm) drill bit and insert Spiral Drywall Anchors into the lower row of mounting holes using a Philips Head Screwdriver.
    • For wood/studs, only drill the pilot hole.
  3. Hang the Rack:
    • For Drywall: Remove expanding nuts from toggle bolts, insert bolts through the top mounting holes, and thread nuts back on until the bolt tip slightly protrudes. Align folded wings of expanding nuts with wall holes, push through, and ensure wings expand on the back side. Gently tighten with a screwdriver. Insert screws into lower mounting holes and gently screw into Spiral Drywall Anchors.
    • For Wood: Fasten the rack through mounting holes using the provided screws.
    • For W Series Frame: Place the rack against the W Series Frame, ensure it's horizontal with a level, and fasten it through the 8 mounting holes using the self-drilling screws provided with the Frame.
  4. Insert Mounting Hole Caps: Once the rack is securely fastened, press the provided 1/2" mounting hole caps into the holes to cover the hardware.
  5. Add Wine: Load the rack with wine bottles.
