AND BUILDING HEATING APPLIANCES, UL 103.
CAUTION : RISK OF FIRE DO NOT ENCLOSE THE
SHIELD. REMOVE THE INSULATION SHIELD BEFORE
ENCLOSING CHIMNEY IN ATTIC SPACE.

BURN DRY, SPLIT, SEASONED WOOD FUEL.

Gas connection and installation (if applicable) shall comply
with the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1.
The construction of the masonry hearth must comply to NFPA
211,CAN/CSA A405 (Design and Construction of Masonry
Chimneys and Fireplaces) or to National Building Code of
Canada.
Install and use only in accordance with Custom Fireplace
Design Inc.s installation and operating instructions.
Follow manufacturer’s installation instructions for precautions
required for passing a chimney or chimney connector through
a combustible wall or ceiling and follow the local building
codes.
Contact Local Building or Fire ofcials about restrictions and
installation inspection requirements in your area.
