Finally, ice build-up due to a thermostat set too cold could be the culprit; unplug the unit overnight, then reset it, adjusting the thermostat to a lower setting, and slowly increase it based on your need for cold water.

Replace it with a full bottle and wait approximately 30 minutes for the water to cool or heat. Ensure the unit is properly plugged into the outlet. Check your home's circuit breaker or fuse box, and reset the breaker or replace the fuse if necessary. Finally, the thermostat may need adjustment. Using a screwdriver, turn the dial clockwise to lower setting ( ) for warmer water and higher setting ( ) for colder water until the desired temperature is reached.
