9. FUNCTIONALITY AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE TEMPERATURE
The refrigerator works according to a refrigerant vapour compression cycle to transfer heat
between the air in the inner compartment and the outer one. The refrigerant, by extracting
heat from the air in the evaporator, evaporates and enters the compressor. Here, the
refrigerant undergoes an increase in pressure and temperature. It then passes through the air
condenser, where it is condensed. Finally, through the capillary tube, the refrigerant returns to
the evaporator and the cycle is repeated. This refrigerator (in all versions) is equipped with an
electronic thermostat for automatic temperature maintenance.
