AFTER POWER-UP
As soon as the bread maker is plugged the power supply and open the switch back of the
bread maker, a beep will be heard and “ 3:00” appears in the display after a short time. But
the two dots between the “3” and “00” don’t flash constantly. The arrow points to
LAGER
and MEDIUM. It is the default setting.
Set real clock
A. Before initial use, remove the insulating cloth of batteries that are put in the
bottom of the unit. When the batteries is connected, real clock will show 12:00,
but we can distinguish whether it is morning or afternoon through AMand
PMshown. We can set clock time by press “PAUSE” button at standby
condition and the number representing hours will blink
B. Adjust to proper hours by press TIME” button. Wait for at least 5 seconds for
confirmation and the number will stop flashing.
C. Press PAUSE button again to adjust the minute, minute digit blinks. When
you have adjusted to desired time wait for at least 5 seconds to confirm, then it
stops flashing.
D. PressPAUSE button one more time to save the setting, and the colon of clock
" "will blink.
START / STOP
For starting and stopping the selected baking program.
To start a program, press the START/STOP” button once. A short beep will be heard and
the two dots in the time display begin to flash and the program starts. Any other button is
inactivated except the START/STOP button after a program has begun.
To stop the program, press the START/STOPbutton for approx. 3 seconds until a beep
confirms that the program has been switched off. This feature will help to prevent any
unintentional disruption to the operation of program.
MENU
It is used to set different programs. Each time it is pressed (accompanied by a short beep)
that the program will vary. Press the button discontinuously the 12 menus will be cycled to
show on the LCD display. Select your desired program. The functions of 12 menus will be
explained below.
1. Basic: kneading, rise and baking normal bread. You may also add ingredients to add
flavor.
2. Whole wheat: kneading, rise and baking of whole wheat bread. This setting has longer
preheat time to allow the grain to soak up the water and expand. It is not advised to use
the delay function as this can produce poor results.
3. French: kneading, rise and baking with a longer rise time. The bread baked in this
menu usually will have a crisper crust and light texture.
4. Quick: kneading, rise and baking loaf with baking soda or baking powder. Bread
baked on this setting is usually smaller with a dense texture.
5. Sweet: kneading, rise and baking sweet bread. You may also add ingredients to add
flavor.
