It is advisable not to mix oils with differ-
ent characteristics.
Classification SAE
Oils are classified according to their viscos-
ity and use: winter or summer. The symbol
W (=Winter) identifies oils intended for win-
ter use. When choosing oils for winter use,
bear in mind the minimum ambient temper-
ature at which the engine must operate. In
the case of summer oils, bear in mind the
maximum operating temperature of the en-
gine.
