Overview

The VOCAL-STAR VS-P120 is a 12" PA speaker designed for various audio applications, offering both playback and recording functionalities. This device is equipped with a range of features that make it suitable for personal use, small gatherings, or events requiring portable sound reinforcement.

Function Description

The VS-P120 serves as a versatile audio system, capable of amplifying sound from multiple sources and recording audio. Its primary function is to provide clear and powerful sound output through its 12-inch PA speaker, with a power output of 300W.

The device supports various input modes, including USB, TF/SD card, AUX, and Bluetooth, allowing users to play music or other audio content from a wide array of devices. For live audio input, it features dedicated microphone inputs (including a 2nd mic input) and a guitar input, making it suitable for karaoke, public speaking, or small musical performances.

A key feature of the VS-P120 is its recording capability. Users can record audio directly onto a USB stick or TF card, which is particularly useful for capturing speeches, vocal performances, or practice sessions. The recording process is straightforward, initiated and stopped with a dedicated "REC" button, and recordings can be played back instantly.

The integrated FM radio functionality allows users to tune into their favorite radio stations, expanding the entertainment options of the device. An antenna is provided to enhance FM radio reception.

For personalized sound, the speaker includes an equalizer with various preset modes such as Normal, Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Classical, allowing users to adjust the audio output to their preference or the type of music being played. Additionally, individual controls for microphone volume, echo, mic treble, and mic bass provide fine-tuning options for vocal performances. A "MIC PRIORITY" feature is also available, which likely ducks the music volume when the microphone is in use, ensuring the speaker's voice is prominent.

The VS-P120 is designed for portability, featuring a built-in rechargeable battery, which allows for operation without a constant power supply. This makes it ideal for outdoor events or locations where power outlets are not readily available. The device also includes an AC input for charging and continuous operation, as well as a DC 12V input, offering flexibility in power sources.
