Exchanging data via NFC
Near Field Communication (NFC) allows your phone to
exchange data with another NFC-enabled device when they
touch each other or in close proximity.
Depending on the applications that you have installed on
your phone, you might be able to use your phone as a transit
pass or as an access pass. To use this feature, tap the back of
your phone against an NFC-enabled access point, subject to
applicable terms and conditions from the particular vendor.
To turn on and use NFC:
1. Swipe up on the home screen and touch Settings >
Connected devices.
2. Slide the NFC switch to the on position.
3. If you want to share web pages, contact information,
YouTube videos or other content on your phone to
another NFC-capable device, touch Android Beam and
slide the switch to the On position.
Using tap & pay
You can tap and pay with your phone at the merchants that
accept contactless payments.
NOTE:
To use tap & pay, you need to install a nano-SIM card which
supports NFC in your phone. For detailed information, please
contact your Vodafone service provider.
