Opening
Press

and
slide window open.
The sliding window
can
be locked in several
positions
(a).
Closing
Press
the two buttons
(1)
at the same time
and
slide window
closed.
Please ensure
that
the
sliding window lock engages
properly.
Fly screen
The sliding window can
be
fitted with
a fly
screen.
The
fly
screen can be removed
by
lifting the
screen,
pressing
it
upward and removing.
Installation
order.
is
performed
in the
reverse
<
Warning
In order to avoid
injury
to
passen-
gers and damage to the sliding
window,
it must always be
locked
in one of the positions (a)
whilst
the vehicle is in motion.
If the
window
is not locked in
position it could slide forward
during a sudden braking ma-
noeuvre or in an accident.

The switches for both windows are located

driver's door (see illustration). There
is
a separate switch for the passenger win-
dow in
the
passenger's door.

Electric
windows with an automatic closing
function*
are
equipped with
a roll-back
function.
The window stops closing automatically
should
anything block
it.
Warning
•
Always
remove the
ignition
key when leaving the vehicle -
even if only temporarily. Please
ensure
that children are never
left unattended in the vehicle.
The electric windows are, how-
ever, only
fully
non-functional
when a door or the tailgate have
been
opened.
•
Be careful when closing the
windows! Careless or uncon-
trolled closing of the windows
can
cause injuries.
•
No persons may remain in the
vehicle when it is locked from
the outside, as the windows
can-
not be opened in the
case
of an
emergency.
Function of electric windows
with
ignition
on
Opening
Press
and briefly hold the front edge
of
the
respective button
and
the window will open
fully (automatic window opening).
If
the switch
is
pressed again, the window
will stop immediately.
