Warning
For
safety
reasons
all
stowage
box
lids
should
always
be
closed
when
vehicle
is moving.
Notes
This
stowage box is intended for the vehicle
wallet.
Between the two drinks/can holders in the
stowage box there is as a holder for coins
for
parking metres.
Passenger sidle
According
to vehicle and scope of equip-
ment, one of the following stowage boxes
can be installed.
Opening
Lift the catch to open passenger side lock-
able*
lid - see illustration.
To open the passenger side lockable* lid,
press both buttons together.
Stowage area* in the driver's
door
Lift the catch to open the driver's side lock-
able*
lid - see illustration.
Stowage area* in passenger
compartment
Press the button to open the stowage area
(see page 85). The stowage area opens.
Close the stowage area if you want to turn,
move or remove the seat in the passenger
compartment.
Instrument panel
Warning
Never
place
items
on the
instru-
ment
panel.
They
could
be
thrown
into
the
interior
of the ve-
hicle
whilst
the
vehicle
is in mo-
tion
(acceleration,
driving
through
curves).

The waste container (see page 85) is lo-
cated in the stowage area of the side trim
behind
the left hand seat. The container an
be
used for small quantities of waste.
The lid will open slightly when the button is
pressed and can then be opened fully.
Fitting location of CD changer*
The factory installed CD changer is located
behind
a flap in the dash panel - see Page
3, Pos. 23.
To get to the CD changer, pull back on
handle on flap. To install, insert flap below in
bracket and swing it up until it engages.
