Overview

The Vollara FreshAir Cube is an electronic air purifier designed to purify spaces up to 1,500 square feet. It incorporates ActivePure® Technology, which is certified by Space Technology™.

Function Description:

The FreshAir Cube operates by purifying the air in a given space. It features a control pad and a remote control for convenient operation. The control pad, located on the right side of the unit, includes buttons for power on/off, fan speed adjustment (up and down), and an "Away Mode" button. The fan has three speeds. The "Away Mode" button also activates a scalable ozone setting. When "Away Mode" is pressed once, the unit enters "Away Mode," indicated by a solid red LED light. This mode is intended for unoccupied spaces only, and users are cautioned to ensure all people and pets have vacated the area when it's in use. The unit returns to "Normal Mode" after 2 hours or if user input is detected. Pressing the "Away Mode" button a second time activates the scalable ozone mode, indicated by a solid green LED light. In this mode, the unit operates in a 20%-on, 80%-off cycle over a one-minute total cycle time, meaning the ozone plate is at maximum output for 12 seconds and then off for 48 seconds, repeating this cycle. Pressing the button again reverts the unit to "Normal" operation mode (ActivePure only).

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the proper operation and longevity of the FreshAir Cube. Improper maintenance can damage the unit or cause it to operate incorrectly. Always unplug the power cord from the back of the FreshAir Cube before servicing to protect against ultraviolet light exposure.

  • Front Grill: Clean every month. Periodically vacuum or wipe with a soft towel.
  • Rear Filter: Clean every month. Can be vacuumed or washed in warm water and allowed to dry completely before reinstalling. Replace as necessary (part number 9950098).

  • Outside Casing: Wipe down with a damp (not wet) cloth.
  • Deep Cleaning/Disassembly: For deep cleaning, the unit can be disassembled. This involves removing the back cover, ActivePure Cell, purifier plate, and then the four front grill screws and the front grill to access the inside of the unit and the fan for cleaning.

Warranty:

The FreshAir Cube comes with a limited one (1) year warranty covering defects in workmanship or material, provided the product is returned to a service location within one year of purchase. The warranty is conditioned upon proper installation, operation, cleaning, and maintenance as per the User's Manual. Servicing by unauthorized parties or using non-genuine parts will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover filters, loss or damage due to accident, fire, abuse, misuse, improper installation, leaking, modification, misapplication, commercial use, or repairs by unauthorized service centers. The warranty is non-transferable. Missing serial numbers or purchases from unauthorized channels (including certain websites and internet auction sites) will void the warranty.
