Transport instructions
The lithium battery product is tested in accordance with the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria,
Part III, Subsection 38.3 (ST/SG/AC.10/11/ Version 5).
For transport, the devices with lithium batteries belong to category UN3481, Class 9, Packing
Group II and during transport these regulations must be observed.
This means that for transport by land or water (ADR, RID & IMDG) they must be packed in
accordance with packing instruction P903 and for air transport (IATA) in accordance with
packing instruction P965.
The original packaging complies with these requirements.
Recycling of products with lithium batteries
• Products with lithium batteries marked with the recycling symbol must be delivered to
recognised recycling points. They can also be returned to the manufacturer on request.
• Dispose of only discharged batteries!
• Isolate the connections to prevent a short circuit!
• Products with lithium batteries must not be used in household or industrial waste.
• Products with lithium batteries are subject to disposal and recycling regulations, which
vary by country and region.
