Duringthepreparationsforthebustowing,
payattentionandtakecareatallthetimethe
mechanicallyparkingbrakereleaseofthe
bus,becauseafterthatthebusmaybenotbe
stopped(withtheservicebrakeorparking
brake).Firstblockthedrivewheels,or
connectadragbarinanothervehicle,sothat
thebuswillnotbeabletostartmovingafter
youhavereleasedtheparkingbrake.After
mechanicallyreleasingtheparkingbrake,the
buscannotbebrakedeitherwiththemain
brakeorwiththeparkingbrake.Blockthe
wheelsorconnecttothetowvehicle,sothat
thebuscannotstartmovingaftertheparking
brakehasbeenreleased.
Note:TCSshouldbeturnedoffifoneof
theaxlesisraisedduringtowingandfor,
punctures,thetiremustberepairedbefore
towingbegins.
CAUTION
Failuretodisconnectthedriveshaft,
removethedriveaxleshaft(s)orlift
thedrivewheelsoffthegroundbefore
towingorpushingthevehicle,cancause
serioustransmissiondamageandvoidthe
transmissionwarranty.
