1. Start playback in the device.
2.Open the
iPod or USB app depending on the connec-
tion method. To play back audio from an iPod, select
the iPod app, regardless of connection method. Play-
back begins.

allow you to use certain apps in your
iOS or Android device via the car to e.g. play back music or listen to
podcasts. The interaction takes place via the car's centre display or
the device.
To use CarPlay, Siri must be activated in the iOS device. The device
also needs to have an Internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile net-
work. To use Android Auto, the
Android Auto app must be installed
on the Android device. The device must also be connected to the
car's USB port.
1. Connect the device to the USB port with a white
frame.
2.For Android Auto, tap on
Android Auto in the app
view to activate.
3.Read the terms and conditions and then tap on
Accept to connect.
4.Tap on the app required.
Activate voice control with CarPlay and Android Auto by means of a
long press on the
button in the steering wheel's right-hand key-
pad. A short press activates the car's own voice control system
instead.
Bluetooth is switched off when CarPlay is used. If you need to con-
nect the car to the Internet, use Wi-Fi or the car's modem*.
