Causes
Solution
There's a rattling noise
from the regulator, &
there's no steam
escaping.
- Regulator is not
installed properly.
- The nozzle of regulator
pipe is blocked with
residue.
- Dry burning.
- Installed regulator on the
regulator pipe properly.
- Remove residue with
cleaning pin.
- Turn off fire immediately
and take away cooker
from range. Turn the
regulator to the pressure
release position” ” to
let steam escape. Open lid
and check if any part
function abnormally.
Steam escapes from safety
valve.
- Regulator pipe is
blocked.
- Excessive loading.
- Heat is too strong.
- Remove residue and dirt
with cleaning pin.
- Reheat after decreasing
the load of the cooker.
- Check food in cooker,
reheat by moderate heat
and adjust regulator
movement to an
appropriate degree.
Steam escapes from all
directions.
- Both regulator and
safety valve
malfunction.
- Sealant ring is not
properly installed
- Sealant ring is
damaged.
- The sealant ring is
stuck with foreign
- Substance such as
food residue etc.
- Lid is not properly
shut.
- Remove residue and dirt
with cleaning pin.
- Reinstall sealant ring.
- Replace sealant ring.
- Remove residue and dirt.
- Shut the lid firmly.
