What to do if my Vornado Electric Heater fails to power on?

  If your Vornado Electric Heater fails to power on, there are several potential causes. First, check your household circuit breaker or ground fault interrupter, as it may have tripped, or a fuse may have blown. Reset the breaker/interrupter or replace the fuse. Another possibility is that the unit has overheated, triggering the Automatic Safety Shut-Off. See RESETTING YOUR VORNADO HEATER. If neither of these solutions works, cease using the heater, unplug it, and contact Consumer Service for assistance.

  To increase the heat output of your Vornado Electric Heater, ensure that the unit is set to High Heat. Additionally, close all doors and windows to trap heat within the room. Allow the unit several minutes to fully circulate the heat throughout the room.

Why is my Vornado VH202 Electric Heater power on but there is no heat?

  If your Vornado Electric Heater powers on but produces no heat, power off and unplug the unit. Locate the black disk on the bottom of the unit and push it in 4-5 times to ensure it is not stuck. Then, set the unit down on a flat surface, making sure the power cord is not underneath it. Plug the unit back in, power it on, and turn it to the highest heat setting.
