Inspect the connections between the console and the TV/VCR, ensuring all cable connectors are securely plugged into the correct sockets. Finally, confirm the TV is tuned to the appropriate input channel.

  If the Power Indicator on your VTech Game doesn't turn on when pressing the ON button, or if it goes OFF during gameplay, ensure the AC Adapter is correctly plugged into both the wall outlet and the back of the Main Unit. If the light remains off, unplug the AC Adapter from the Main Unit, wait one minute, and then plug it back in before pressing the ON button again. If the issue persists, press the RESTART button, wait a few seconds, and then try the ON button again. As a last resort, remove all controllers, accessories like the V.FLASH™ MEMORY CARD, and the V.DISC™, then repeat the above steps. If this resolves the problem, the issue may be with the V.DISC™ or an accessory; try replacing them to identify the faulty component.

  If the sound on your VTech Game is buzzing, and you're using the Stereo AV Cable, check the audio (red & white) connections to ensure they are plugged into the 'Input' connectors, not the 'Output' connectors. Also, make sure the video (yellow) connector is not plugged into an audio connector. Ensure the power is OFF before plugging any Controller into the console. Completely insert the Controller Plug into the Player 1 or Player 2 Port on the front of the console. Note that some games only work when the Controller is plugged into the Player 1 Port.

  If an error occurs when loading a V.DISC™ or playing a game on your VTech Game, and the V.FLASH™ is on an unstable surface, turn the unit off. Then, move the V.FLASH™ to a stable surface and press ON again. If this doesn't work, the V.DISC™ might be dirty or damaged. Please refer to the V.DISC™ User’s Manual for CD cleaning procedure.
