Limited Wheel Warranty.
CASSETTE INSTALLATION
AND REMOVAL
All Vuelta and ZeroLite road and MTB model
wheels are compatible with 9-speed Shi-
mano- and SRAM-type cassettes. Compat-
ibility with 10/11-speed Campagnolo-type
cassettes is an available option for Vuelta
road wheels – except for Corsa/Corsa Pro/
Corsa HD. All ZeroLite road wheels are
compatible with Shimano-type 10-speed
cassettes. Read the cassette manufacturer’s
instructions for specic preparation and
installation information.
A 4.5 – 5 mm spacer is required if using a
7- or 8-speed Shimano cassette. A 1 mm
spacer is required if using a 10-speed Shi-
mano cassette.
Use compatible cassette lockring tool for
installation and removal; tighten to manufac-
turer’s specications. Use a chain whip to
hold cassette during removal.
BRAKE PADS USE & ADJUSTMENT
If using rim brakes, brake pads should be
centered with braking surface of rim. Adjust
brakes with wheel installed on bike. Pads
should not be more than 1 mm from top of
rim and not contact or rub wheel graphics
or tires, which can cause brake failure or
accident. Read the brake manufacturer’s
instructions regarding brake system use and
adjustment.
DISC BRAKES
Read your bicycle owner’s manual or the
disc brake manufacturer’s instructions for
adjusting and using brake calipers and pads
with Vuelta or ZeroLite wheel models that
are disc brake only or disc brake-compatible.
